In October 2023, we successfully implemented two healthcare initiatives, benefiting hundreds of Somali patients.
In collaboration with Al-Ihsaan Hospital in Mogadishu, we conducted a medical campaign to combat blindness, providing free medical services, including examinations, surgeries, and medications, to 200 individuals in need. This project was funded by generous philanthropists from Kuwait through the international charity organization ALRAHMA Kuwait.

In another achievement, we provided free cardiac surgery to six patients suffering from heart disease in Hargeisa. Cardiologists at the International Hospital in Hargeisa, a relief and health development project implemented by ARC in the region, utilized state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheter machines to unblock blood vessels and arteries, effectively treating patients from impoverished families.
Cardiology and eye care are two of the most expensive medical specialties worldwide, posing significant challenges for those in need. Our healthcare initiatives aim to reach economically disadvantaged individuals who cannot afford the high costs associated with these services. We believe that everyone has the right to access quality healthcare, regardless of their financial status.

The International Hospital in Hargeisa is one of the best-equipped hospitals in the Horn of Africa, with a team of highly skilled specialists. This hospital plays a pivotal role in our healthcare initiatives in the Horn of Africa.

We are grateful to our partners, including ALRAHMA Kuwait, for their support, and to our team members for their dedication to providing essential medical services to those who need it most. We are committed to continuing our work in the Horn of Africa and the continent at large, creating a healthier and brighter future for all.
