The opening of a group of centers of the “Al-Shafee Program” for memorizing the Holy Qur’an in the city of Hargeisa, Somaliland
As an extension of the series of centers “The Intercessor Program”, which is concerned with the comprehensive aspects of memorizing the Holy Qur’an, studying it, understanding it, and adopting its morals, especially for the buds of the Islamic nation, the Africa Relief Committee launched the project of opening three new Quranic centers as follows:
The “Ibn Al-Jarzi” center, which has 29 students, the “Al-Itraja” center for 29 female students, and the “Kuwait” center, which has 57 students.
These centers were opened with funding from the International Islamic Charitable Organization in the State of Kuwait and work with a precise strategy of teaching the Holy Qur’an to age groups starting from the age of 7 while ensuring the memorization of the entire Holy Qur’an for the aforementioned category within a period not exceeding four years.
The project aims to achieve ongoing charity of the donors by sponsoring the Holy Qur’an teacher through the teaching function grant, contributing to the upbringing of the community’s buds of children and participating in their upbringing by the teachings of Islamic Sharia, as well as contributing to expanding the circle of memorizing, learning and teaching the Holy Qur’an.
