Inauguration of Five Surface Wells in Mogadishu

In a gesture of humanitarian cooperation, five new surface wells have been inaugurated in Mogadishu as part of water and sanitation projects aimed at improving living conditions for thousands of residents. This initiative, implemented by the Africa Relief Committee with funding from Kuwait’s Global Mercy Association, is expected to benefit approximately 1,500 people, alleviating the suffering of local communities struggling with water scarcity and lack of access to clean water.

The local residents welcomed the project with joy, considering it a new source of hope for their daily lives. This initiative is not just about providing water—it serves as a humanitarian message that reminds us of the importance of international cooperation in tackling shared challenges. At a time when such efforts are urgently needed, the inauguration of these wells stands as a model of effective charitable and relief work.
