Horn of Africa faces catastrophic hunger, with the country devastated by the extreme drought. A total of 6.5 million people face acute food insecurity. Drought is compounding persistent insecurity and instability. Huge numbers of people have been forced to leave their homes, with over 1.5 million drought-driven displacements
In the face of this crisis, African Relief Committee (ARC) expanded its emergency food and nutrition response to reach those affected through a variety of food security programs, whether in seasonal or non-seasonal projects.
