In an atmosphere of enthusiasm and anticipation for a brighter future, Somaliland hosted the annual National Conference on Vocational Education, with broad participation from local and international organizations and the presence of representatives from the Africa Relief Committee.
The opening session was attended by Mr. Hussein Metwally, Deputy Director for Programs at the committee, while Mr. Imad Awad Abdel Qader represented the committee in the conference sessions. He participated in discussions focused on enhancing the role of vocational education in empowering youth and creating sustainable employment opportunities.
The conference featured specialized workshops on the importance of vocational education, where experts and executives exchanged ideas on developing curricula and linking them to the labor market to ensure a promising professional future for upcoming generations.
