Yahya is an ambitious young man from Hargeisa, Somaliland, who is searching for a way to achieve his dreams in life. He found his passion in the crafts and enrolled in the Technical Industrial Institute in Hargeisa as an apprentice in the metalworking department.
From the very first day, Yahya demonstrated exceptional commitment to learning, spending long hours in practical training to improve his skills. He didn’t limit himself to what was taught in the workshops; he also read about the latest metalworking techniques and explored ways to enhance efficiency and quality.
Thanks to his diligence and perseverance, Yahya achieved significant successes during his training period. He excelled in designing and producing high-quality products, which attracted the attention of local labor and major projects in the city. These successes gave him the confidence to start thinking about realizing his own dream.
After graduating from the institute, Yahya decided to take the big step and open his own workshop. With his skills and the network he built during his training, he was able to attract clients in a short time. He started with a limited number of employees, but the quality of work and professionalism of his team led to a continuous increase in demand for his services.
Within a few years, Yahya’s workshop evolved into a network comprising three workshops operating under his management, employing 36 workers. Yahya became not only a successful business manager but also a source of inspiration for other young people, offering support and advice to newcomers in the crafts field.
