The African Relief Committee carried out an eye surgery medical campaign in Borama, Somaliland, in cooperation with Al-Amal Medical Hospital, benefiting 210 patients suffering from cataracts.
The campaign included conducting the necessary medical examinations and identifying eligible patients. The hospital’s medical team then performed cataract removal surgeries, with the aim of helping patients regain their sight and improving their quality of life.
The campaign was funded by philanthropists from the State of Kuwait through Rahma International Society, as part of ongoing efforts to support healthcare services and provide medical care to vulnerable and underserved communities.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the donors and the organizations responsible for implementing and supervising the campaign, appreciating the medical services that helped alleviate their suffering and enabled them to resume their daily lives more independently.
