The Industrial Institute for Girls in the Kuwait Educational Complex of African Relief Committee concluded yesterday morning a specialized course in the manufacture of cake and sweets for (20) trainees in Hargeisa, Somaliland, and the course comes with generous funding from Al-Rahma International Society in the State of Kuwait.

The one-month course aimed at teaching girls and mothers of girls the skills of making sweets in all its forms, in addition to methods of decorating cakes in a modern way, as they learned the manufacture of baked goods and sweets.

Mr. Hussein Metwalli, Director of Development and Productivity Projects at the Foundation, said: “Today we are pleased with the conclusion of this course, which will supply the local market with skilled girls in the confectionery industry. A productive product for their family and community. and appreciated his thanks to the management of the office and Al-Rahma International Society in the State of Kuwait, and to all those in charge of making such projects successful.
