Your Excellency, the Acting Amir of the State of Kuwait,
On behalf of the African Relief Committee (A.R.C.), its chairman, board of directors, and dedicated staff and volunteers serving across the continent, we extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies on the passing of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. May Allah Almighty shower him with His infinite mercy and grant him eternal peace in the highest gardens of Paradise.
The world has lost a true leader, a champion of humanitarian causes, and a steadfast friend to the Somali people and the African people in general. The Amir’s unwavering commitment to alleviating suffering and promoting development throughout Africa served as a beacon of hope for millions. His generous contributions, not only as the Amir of Kuwait but also as a leading figure in the global humanitarian community, were instrumental in transforming countless lives and fostering stability in vulnerable regions.
The A.R.C. is forever grateful for the unwavering support and partnership provided by Kuwait and its people under His Highness’s leadership. His dedication to our mission resonates throughout the communities we serve. His legacy will forever be etched in the hearts of those whose lives were touched by his generosity and compassion.
In this time of sorrow, we stand with the people of Kuwait in mourning. We extend our deepest sympathies to the Amir’s family and loved ones, as well as to the entire Kuwaiti nation and the wider Arab and Islamic world. May Allah grant you all patience, solace and comfort during this difficult time.
We beseech the Almighty to grant His Highness His just reward for his exemplary service to humanity and to guide Kuwait towards a future of continued peace, prosperity, and continued leadership in the pursuit of a better world for all.
