On a day filled with joy from the people of Afgoye district, located in the Lower Shabelle region – Somalia.
The African Relief Committee inaugurated in early 2022 the mosque and well of “Rashid Mubarak Al Shamroukh”. This project is part of the charitable construction projects implemented by the African Relief Committee in various regions and cities in Somaliland and Somalia. With a generous donation from the International Mercy Society in the State of Kuwait.
The mosque, which was built, can accommodate more than 162 worshipers, along with 150 families who benefit from the shallow well.
