Within the construction projects implemented by the Africa Relief Committee in all regions and cities of Somaliland and Somalia, the construction of the orphanage was inaugurated in the “Al-Noor” educational complex in Burma – Somaliland
Which is planned to be established on an area of 750 square meters, consisting of 4 rooms for orphans, a supervision room, a dining hall A study room, a storeroom, fully furnished and equipped, in addition to 6 toilets.
Mr. Abdul Qadir Mohamed Ahmed, Director of the Burma Office of the Africa Relief Committee, said, “This project, which combines the quality of construction and the highness of the goal, confirms the keenness of those in charge of orphans and care for them as a group that needs help, care and rehabilitation.”
In this context, he extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to all the supporters of the General Secretariat of Endowments and the International Mercy Society in Kuwait and all those who contributed to the creation of this important humanitarian project.
Within the development projects, a charitable and developmental bakery project was opened inside the complex.
The project included building a bakery with an area of 200 square meters, a kneading and fermentation room, a storeroom, and the purchase of an oven that includes work requirements such as a mixer, stove, cutter, shelves, and other requirements for the project.
It is worth mentioning that the goal of this project is to provide a productive source that provides support to the orphans of the Al-Noor Educational Complex by operating the bakery, feeding the orphans living in it, selling the rest of its products to the community, and using the financial return transferred to operate the complex and provide the needs and requirements of the orphans who are sponsored in it.
